Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Tax Payments

All payments made towards Property Tax and Water Tax are statutory payments to the Local Body Government.

Strict No Refund Policy: Once a tax payment is successfully processed and a receipt is generated, it cannot be refunded or cancelled under any circumstances.

2. Duplicate Payments

In the rare event of a double payment for the same tax period due to a technical error:

• The excess amount will be adjusted against the next financial year's tax liability.
• Please contact the Gram Panchayat office with both transaction receipts for adjustment.

3. Failed Transactions

If money is deducted but no receipt is generated, the amount is usually auto-refunded by the bank within 5-7 working days. If not, please contact us.
